It's not what you think... On Halloween last year, south of San Francisco, two drunken lads out to impress their lady friends decided to visit an ostrich ranch. They climbed into a paddock and woke Gaylord - a 130kg male ostrich - who was not impressed with their antics. He attacked the pair, breaking ribs, and giving the ladies something to be impressed with. The pair beat a hasty retreat and returned with guns to settle the score, as you do when you haven't grown up watching Sesame Street. The story ended earlier this month with jail sentences for the two. I'd hate to be either of those lads on the bus to prison and be asked what I was doing time for... (thanks graeme.)

On May 20th the VNN Vanguard Nazi/KKK tried to hold a rally in Knoxville, Tennessee. However, they didn't count on facing down the 100th Anti Racist Action Clown Block. The clowns found it difficult to understand the racists and a breakdown in communication led the leader of the racist group to lunge at them in a fit of rage and get himself arrested. Asheville Indymedia ran a great story on the event... well worth a read. Nedless to say the stoopid noses went home with their tails between their legs and the clowns triumphed... well done clowns!

So there's been some coverage of the ghost riding phenomenon on the papers. So Ghost Riding is where you drive a car and jump out while its moving and dance beside it or on the roof. So here's some amusing clips of ghost riding going wrong... this one is pretty hardcore, with an obvious outcome:
